WHAT YOU'LL SEE
Encounter is the young adults (18-29 years old) group that meets at Southwest Community Church. Our purpose is to build meaningful relationships while we learn about who God is, what He is like and and how he can make a difference in our lives. We're challenged to 'Encounter the Valley' as we try to make a difference in our communities and in the world.
| We regularly meet on Sunday nights at Southwest Community Church. Show up at 7:00 pm in Room 200 (upstairs at the church). The church is located on the corner of Fred Waring and Washington, right next to the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens. |

WHO YOU'LL MEET

- We recently moved to the valley from Oregon so we could start working at Southwest with Encounter.
- We've been married 1½ years.
- Raleigh is the pastor of Encounter and Katie is currently an elementry teacher.
- We both like to explore Southern California and go to Universal Studios.
- Raleigh loves coffee, Katie hates coffee, but they both love the TV show 24.
- We really like living in the desert, though Katie misses the 40" of rain a year she was used to in Oregon.
- We'd both love to get to know you, so come to Encounter and introduce yourself to us!
